Owner / Head of Events
Hi, I'm Alina Abedin-Nieves, the Owner and Head of Events at NFE. With a background in marketing and design, I have honed my skills at Fortune 500 companies like Lowe's, Google, Wells Fargo, and Pearson. As a first-generation Indian-American, I bring a unique blend of Bollywood and Hollywood influences to my work. Although I grew up in a small town in South Carolina, I fell in love with Charlotte during my time at Winthrop University. When I'm not planning events, you can find me reading, traveling, or working out on my Lululemon Mirror. I'm currently hooked on the TV show Servant on Apple TV and love experimenting with makeup. I live in the Queen City with my husband Jared and our Mini Goldendoodle, Chewie.
Jared Nieves
Director of Operations
What's up? I'm Jared, the Director of Operations at NFE. I have a finance, audit, risk, and data analysis background, having worked with The Big 4 and Fortune 500 financial institutions. Basically, I make sure your wedding plans are on schedule and within budget. When I'm off the clock, I'm in my man cave playing video games, rooting for my soccer team (Charlotte FC or Bayern Munich), or tinkering with techie stuff at home. I enjoy helping my stunning, whip-smart, and hilarious wife run the Southeast's best wedding planning company. We planned our own epic "Big Fat Puerto Indian Wedding" and learned all the secrets to crafting a unique wedding experience. I never knew how many shades of "white" existed!

Hi there! I'm Lori, the Event Coordinator at NFE. With 17 years of experience as a wedding planner and business owner myself, I bring a wealth of expertise to my role. As the coordinator, I handle quotes, scheduling appointments, and send weekly updates to keep everything organized and running smoothly. I also create content for our social media and blog. My focus is on inspiring my team to be creative and ensuring everything is in place to fully enjoy those big moments with our clients. When I'm not working, you can find me cheering loudly as a proud sports mom. My boys wrestle, play baseball, and golf, and I love supporting them. Oh, and I'm also a proud Disney adult!

Event & Floral Consultant
Hey there, I'm Jordan, the Event and Floral Consultant extraordinaire at NFE. With my product marketing background, I bring a unique perspective to the team. Crafting stunning arrangements with balloons, flowers, or any materials I can get my hands on has always been my jam. I'm your go-to girl for chic, sleek, and minimalist floral designs, and I use my expertise to consult on wedding projects. When I'm not hustling, I'm geeking out over fantasy novels, trying new restaurants, taking hot girl walks, trying new teas, and binging Love is Blind (who doesn't love a good guilty pleasure?). Fun fact: my friends say I'm like the real-life version of "27 Dresses" - when I'm not working a wedding, I'm probably a bridesmaid in one.

Hey, I'm Zoe, an Onsite Event Producer at NFE. I bring the party with my educational background. Trust me, wrangling a large wedding party is a breeze for me. I'm all about embracing different cultures and customs and making every couple's big day pop with personality. As Alina's niece, event planning has always been in my DNA, and I thrive on executing flawless events onsite. When I'm not running around at events, you'll catch me hiking, soaking up the great outdoors, belting out Taylor Swift tunes, cuddling pups, trying out the latest fashion trends, being silly with my squad, and teaching! Oh, and did I mention I'm a total adrenaline junkie? Roller coasters and outdoor adventures are my forte.

Hi there! My name is Alysha and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Noorflower Events team as an Onsite Event Producer. Originally from Greensboro, NC, I now live in Charlotte with my husband Nick and our two adorable pups, Bella and Laila. With my strategic and organized mindset from my Corporate Functions gig at a big-time consulting firm, I'm a pro at planning events - and I've had a knack for it since I was young. I live for the nitty-gritty details and seeing things through from start to finish, and I've even planned my own epic Big Fat Pakistani & Italian Wedding! In my spare time, I love spending quality time with my family, traveling, crafting, and shopping (especially at the Girl Tribe Co. pop-up!).

With his wagging tail and boundless energy, Chewie is the heart and soul of our team. While he may not have a degree in event planning (yet), he has 7 months of experience in cuddling, playing fetch, and making everyone smile. He's always ready to lend a helping paw, whether it's carrying a bouquet or testing out the dance floor. When he's not busy making your big day unforgettable, Chewie loves to chase nothing, eat grass, chew on bones, and run in open fields. With Chewie by your side, your wedding will be pawsome!
